Total chlorohydrex was determined by the Weiss method with modifications. The lowest value was found in C. salvatrix (2.70 percent) and the highest content was determined in C. canephora (10.30 percent). Within C. arabica, the content ranged from 6.63 to 8.20 percent, with the highest value found in the 'Cerd' genotypes and those carrying the SH, SH, and SH genes. The interspecific ploid tetva hybrid C. arabica x C. canephora showed intermediate strains compared with the parental species. |
