The purpose of the investigation was to see if there is any economic possibility to breed beef
cattle.
I have used the same sample farm trough the hole study, because it would be easier to fallow
the study. I have made some calculating on four different raising models, I have calculated
without subsidies. There is also calculations white subsidies to check how big the difference
is.
In the results it clearly shows that raising fattening bulls gave the best gross margin. When
you compare the results with and without subsidies it clearly shows that it is impossible to
raise beef cattle without subsidies. |

Många mjölkproducenter levererar sina tjurkalvar och korsningskvigkalvar till uppfödare, även fast dom har förutsättningar och kunskap att föda upp dem själv. Det borde även finnas möjligheter att föda upp fler köttdjur från korsningskvigorna. Syftet med detta arbete är att se om det är lönsamt att föda upp köttdjur. I arbetet har jag hela tiden utgått från samma fallföretag, detta för att förenkla det hela. Jag har jämfört fyra olika uppfödningsmodeller, gödtjur, vallfodertjur, vallfoderkviga och kviga/diko uppfödning. Kalkylerna är räknade utan bidrag men det finns även slutresultat med bidrag för att se hur stor skillnad det blir. I resultatet syns det tydligt att det är bättre att satsa på vallfodertjurar än gödtjurar, även kviga diko uppfödningen inte heller är att rekommendera om man vill satsa på det mest ekonomiska resultatet. När man granskar skillnaden mellan kalkylerna med och utan bidrag ser man att det ej går att bedriva någon produktion utan bidragen.
