Sumario:The piquizeira, Caryocar coriaceum Wittm., is a widespread plant in most of the states in Brazil. The author reports the fat percentage in three parts of the fruit: The pulp, kernel´s husk and the kernel. The fruits used as samples came from Ceará and Piaui.
