The nutritional efficiency was calculated by the following formula. E = grain yield (g) nutrient contained in the vegetative part of the plant (g) x plant cycle (days). The results obtained allowed for the conclusion that there is need for further studies to establish conclusively the concept of nutritional efficiency for grain sorghum. There were significant correlations between production and N and P nutritional efficiency for corn.
