Las semillas fueron sometidas a diferentes condiciones de temperatura, luz y almacenamiento Beloria campbellii mostró una fuerte latencia endógena inicial y una alta germinación tras periodos de almacenamiento. La germinación de Heliocarpus clonell-smithii se vio favorecida por la alta temperatura, el termoperiodo y el calentamiento previo.
