Publicado en: Revista de Producción Animal, v. 45 suplemento 1 : 40 (2025) La interacción genotipo por ambiente (GxE) se manifiesta en diferencias en el desempeño relativo entre dos o más individuos cuando nos movemos de un ambiente a otro. En la población Brangus argentina, que se distribuye en climas y sistemas productivos diversos, la interacción GxE puede inducir reordenamientos de los reproductores por mérito genético. Para evaluar esta posibilidad, en este trabajo se utilizó un enfoque de modelos multi-carácter, que consideran a un mismo rasgo medido en diferentes ambientes como caracteres genéticamente correlacionados (Falconer y Mackay, 1996).
