Sumario:This report reports the activities corresponding to Research and Development, Transfer and Extension, Technological Linkage, Institutional Relations, Institutional Management and Dissemination/Communication corresponding to the ITA in the year 2023. In 2023, the 50th Anniversary of the Food Technology Institute was celebrated, so the Commission for the Organization of Seminars and Training (CoSyC) of the ITA organized two events: the Sixth Technical Update Conference (JAT 2023) ITA-INTA and the Celebration Event 50th Anniversary of the Food Technology Institute, which took place on November 8, 9 and 10, 2023. In the reported period, the number of Postgraduate Theses defended and in development is assessed. The quantity and quality of national and international publications and presentations at national and international conferences are also highlighted. In addition, the coordination and participation of ITA agents in institutional and extra-institutional projects, platforms and networks, effective in 2023, is highlighted. In relation to these, 1 Applied PICT Project II Institutional Leap, 5 Open Topics PICT Projects, 2 FONARSEC Projects, 2 IMPACT.AR Projects, 3 projects financed by the IPCVA, 2 PIP Projects and 1 Executing Unit Project (PUE) corresponding to the “Institute of Science and Technology of Sustainable Agri-Food Systems (ICyTeSAS)” financed by CONICET. 4 international projects are also highlighted (FONTRAGRO, Red CYTED, INIA Uruguay and MINCYT-MOST RP China). In relation to human talents, the incorporation in 2023 of 3 agents from the INTA Professional Group, 1 INTA Training Fellow, 1 CONICET Postdoctoral Fellow and 2 professionals corresponding to the Support Personnel Career (CPA) of CONICET. Furthermore, the participation of ITA agents in the training of human talents is emphasized, as well as in extension activities, scientific-technological advice, undergraduate and graduate university teaching, and performance as peer evaluators of research and development projects, publications, Postgraduate and Undergraduate Theses, awards, etc.
