| Sumario: | The Food Technology Institute (ITA) aims to generate knowledge, develop and transfer innovative technologies, train and perfect human talents and provide strategic services in response to the needs and opportunities of the Agricultural, Agri-Food System, Agroindustrial and Bioindustrial (SAAAB) Argentine and future trends. All this contemplating aspects related to safety, nutrition, properties physical and sensory, emerging technologies (nano, bio, ICTs, omics, new processing technologies) and waste utilization technologies, waste and byproducts This report reports the activities corresponding to Research and Development, Transfer and Extension, Technological Linkage, Institutional Relations and Institutional Management and Dissemination and Communication corresponding to the ITA in the year 2022. In the reported period, the quantity and quality of the publications is assessed. National and international and presentations at national and international conferences international. At the same time, the number of Postgraduate Theses was relevant. defended and in development during the year 2022. The coordination and participation of ITA agents in institutional projects and extra-institutional ones in force in 2022 and the external ones approved during that year. In relation to these, an Applied PICT Project II Institutional Leap stands out. and a project financed by the IPCVA. In turn, during 2022,
different projects, some approved this year (1 PICT and 1 PIP CONICET) and 2 PITES projects and 3 FONARSEC Projects still under evaluation. Also important is the approval in mid-2022, by CONICET, of the Executing Unit Project Idea (PUE) corresponding to the “Institute of Science and Technology of Sustainable Agri-Food Systems (ICyTeSAS)” and the presentation of the PUE project in November 2022 (still in assessment). In relation to human talents, the incorporation in 2022 of 2 stands out agents from the Professional Group, 2 agents from the Support and Technical Group and 1 intern co-financed by INTA-CONICET. In addition, the participation of agents is emphasized of the ITA in the training of human talents, as well as in Report of the Food Technology Institute - 2022 extension, scientific-technological advice, undergraduate university teaching and postgraduate and performance as peer evaluators of research projects and development, publications, Postgraduate and Degree Theses, awards, etc. Finally, the incorporation of low and medium-sized equipment and of institutional vehicles, and the possibility of making building improvements and facilities through reinforcement of institutional funds.
