EP (ensayos preliminares) por su calidad del grano, porcentaje de absorcion de agua a partir del peso seco, presencia de grano duro y partido, tiempo de coccion prom., calidad del caldo y contenido de proteina. Se encontraron diferencias significativas en los valores prom. de todas las caracteristicas que se midieron en los EP/82, 84 y 85, con excepcion del contenido de proteina para los EP/82 y 84 y de solidos en el caldo. Adicionalmente, se realizo un estudio comparativo sobre la influencia de la localidad, periodo de cosecha y var. en el tiempo de coccion, dureza y contenido de proteina para determinar si existen la variabilidad genetica o ambiental o su interaccion. Se presentan en forma de cuadro los resultados de los diferentes ensayos.
