Summary:The purpose of this report is to examine the interconnectedness between climate change and food and nutrition security in Latin America and to offer a suite of methods for measuring how they affect one another. This first part of the report offers a brief overview of food and nutrition security in Latin America as related to the current and likely future impacts of climate change. The second part presents methods and tools recommended by the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) for measuring the impacts of climate change on food and nutrition security.
