With this in mind, CTA has been supporting youth engagement in agriculture for more than 15 years. Its youth strategy is a first attempt to bring these efforts into a comprehensive policy. Under a common theme of building capacity, the strategy sets out four objectives: promoting policies on youth in agriculture; encouraging youth engagement in value chains; exploring increased use of ICTs by young people; and supporting young professionals in agricultural sciences and innovation. |
