description Executive Summary Capacity development is essential to strengthen sustainability and climate resilience in agrifood systems. Through its innovation hub model, CIMMYT has consolidated training strategies that build learning communities and expand the reach of knowledge across territories, accelerating the adoption of sustainable practices This report documents three training pathways targeting key actors: Trainers, who strengthen technical and methodological support; Certified Technicians in Sustainable Agriculture (TC-AS), who serve as regional change agents; and Community Leaders, farmers who promote local leadership and peer-to-peer learning. Across all three cases, the combination of structured training, field-based practice, and digital networks (mainly WhatsApp) has helped sustain active communities for technical exchange, collaboration, and continuous learning. Resumen Ejecutivo El desarrollo de capacidades es clave para impulsar la sostenibilidad y resiliencia de los sistemas agroalimentarios. Bajo el modelo de hubs de innovación, el CIMMYT ha consolidado estrategias de formación que fortalecen comunidades de aprendizaje y amplían el alcance del conocimiento en territorio, acelerando la adopción de prácticas sustentables Este reporte documenta tres rutas formativas orientadas a actores estratégicos: Formadores, quienes fortalecen el acompañamiento técnico y metodológico; Técnicos Certificados en Agricultura Sustentable (TC-AS), como agentes de cambio con alcance regional; y Líderes comunitarios, productores que impulsan el liderazgo local y el aprendizaje entre pares. En los tres casos, la combinación de capacitación estructurada, práctica en campo y redes sociales (principalmente WhatsApp) ha permitido sostener comunidades activas para el intercambio técnico, la colaboración y la actualización continua.
