Description
Summary:Executive Summary Capacity development is essential to strengthen sustainability and climate resilience in agrifood systems. Through its innovation hub model, CIMMYT has consolidated training strategies that build learning communities and expand the reach of knowledge across territories, accelerating the adoption of sustainable practices This report documents three training pathways targeting key actors: Trainers, who strengthen technical and methodological support; Certified Technicians in Sustainable Agriculture (TC-AS), who serve as regional change agents; and Community Leaders, farmers who promote local leadership and peer-to-peer learning. Across all three cases, the combination of structured training, field-based practice, and digital networks (mainly WhatsApp) has helped sustain active communities for technical exchange, collaboration, and continuous learning.
