Drawing on lessons from AICCRA Food Systems Accelerators, it showed how accelerator programs can de-risk agribusinesses and link science with enterprise, while also facing limitations in scale and incentive alignment. The talk introduced an open-source, modular AI workflow developed by CGIAR that integrates satellite, weather, agronomic, and behavioral data to generate rapid diagnostics and investment insights. By reducing transaction costs and improving decision quality, the approach supports researchers, development partners, governments, and investors in strengthening evidence-based, climate-smart food systems.
