Vad är det egentligen som får oss att känna för en plats? I den här uppsatsen har jag försökt undersöka hur landskapsarkitekturen kan arbeta för att skapa platser som väcker engagemang hos dess användare . Kort sagt hur jag kan skapa platser som människor tycker om. Begrepp inom platsanalysens teori så som rum och plats samt territorialitet redovisas, för att vidare används vid analys av en rad olika fallexempel. Dessa fallexempel har gemensamt att de är tydliga i sin formgivning och fungerar nästan som objekt i sig.
