Methodology: E-mails were sent out to 6 different companies with a proposition for participation. Of those companies that gave a positive answer the most suited company for the diploma work was selected. Thereafter, a contact was established through telephone with the CEO of the chosen company and relevant questions to him were formulated. The second time of contact the first interview was held and half of the questions were answered. Furthermore the name and telephone number of the company's Nordic Sales Manager was provided with the purpose of getting an interview with a person that handled most of the contact with the retailers.
Questionnaires were developed for retailers, customers, Nordic Sales Manager and additional questions to the CEO that arose during the first interview.
Later on the interviews were held and compiled, an analysis of the result was made and finally a summary of recommended measurements that arose during the analysis.
Conclusion: The Company should make a bigger investment when it comes to the layout of the bags of seed and also the design of the seed stand. They should make more market surveys amongst retailers and customers and educate retailers about the product assortment. |

Syfte: utreda hur Nelson Garden AB går till väga för att nå ut till slutkund genom positionering av sitt eget varumärke, när de som producent är delvis beroende av återförsäljarnas kompetens och säljarskicklighet. Metod: Till en början skickades e-postmeddelanden ut med förfrågningar om deltagande till 6st företag, av de som gav jakande svar valdes därefter det företag ut som ansågs lämpligast för ändamålet med examensarbetet. Efter valet av företag upprättades en kontakt med företagets VD via telefon och det formulerades relevanta intervjufrågor till denne. Vid det andra telefonsamtalet genomfördes första intervjun och hälften av frågorna ställdes. Vidare tillhandahölls namn och telefonnummer till företagets Nordic Sales Manager så att en intervju kunde bokas in även med denne. Härefter utarbetades ett frågeformulär för både återförsäljare och slutkund, Nordic Sales Manager och ytterligare frågor till VD som uppkom i samband med den första intervjun. Intervjuerna genomfördes och sammanställdes sedan. Vidare genomfördes en analys och slutligen en sammanfattning av de rekommenderade åtgärder som framkom i anslutning med analysen. Slutsats: Företaget bör göra en större satsning på påsarnas layout och fröställens utformning, likaså utveckla hemsidan.
