It is now supposed to be renewable energy. It this study I have taken in consider how to build a small hydropower plant, all the way from applications to the county administrative board to planning and calculating. The most important conclusions that this study has reached are that there are good possibilities to be profitability if you have the administrative board on your side. What you should remember is that every kWh from renewable energy puts out one kWh from carbon power plant.

What you should remember is that every kWh from renewable energy puts out one kWh from carbon power plant. Småskalig vattenkraft har under många år varit en viktig källa att få elektricitet ifrån. Men under 70-talet så trodde man att kärnkraften var framtiden. Man stängde ner ca 2 000 små vattenkraftstationer. Det var inte ekonomiskt lönt att investera i dem. Men nu 30 år senare har man ändrat uppfattning om var framtidens elektricitet skall komma ifrån. Det skall vara förnyelsebar energi. I denna litteraturstudie har det behandlats hur man går till väga om man vill bygga ett nytt småskaligt vattenkraftverk, allt från ansökningar hos länsstyrelsen till projektering och kalkylering. Det viktigaste slutsatserna jag fått fram i denna studie är att det finns goda möjligheter till att få det lönsamt bra bara man har länsstyrelsen på sin sida.
