appearance. Here are potential and a lot of possibilities for
development.
When working with a task as Vetlanda center, it is easy to take
water over your head, so it is important to limit yourself. History,
a description of today's appearance and work area limit

job. The history is not as useful as I had expected. Time Evaluation
is important as a basis for the future form and lighting
proposals. The comparison between what works today and
what does not work, acts as clues for the proposal.
We know that a pleasant outdoor environment, leads to a
greater extent of the People. In environments where there is
diversity, excitement and tension, there are also people. The
same factors are important during the night, but another factor
is added, safety. With the night comes fear and a feeling
of not being safe, to a much bigger extent than it does during
daytime. With lighting lot can be done, that's what makes it
so interesting. |

I sin tur blir dessa underlag för förslagen, både för gestaltningen och belysningen, samt ger en tankeställare genom hela arbetet. Vetlanda kommun behöver förändra Stortorget som ligger mitt i centrum. Området är inte så välanvänt idag och har ett ganska trist utseende. Här fi nns potential och stora möjligheter för utveckling. När man arbetar med en uppgift som Vetlanda centrum är det lätt att ta sig vatten över huvudet, därför är det viktigt att begränsa sig. Historia, en beskrivning över dagens utseende samt arbetsområdetsgränsen till gestaltningsförslaget har fått olika vikt för arbetet. Historian är inte så användbar som jag hade förväntat mig. Dagslägesbeskrivning är viktig som underlag för blivande gestaltnings- och belysningsförslagen. Jämförelsen mellan vad som fungerar idag och vad som inte fungerar blir ledtrådar för omgestaltningen. Vi vet att en trevlig utemiljö leder till en större omfattning av folkliv. I omgivningar där det fi nns variation, upplevelser och spänning, där fi nns det också människor. Att samma faktorer är viktiga även under natten är uppenbart, dessutom tillkommer det en viktig faktor, trygghet. Mörkret drar med sig rädsla och osäkerhet som inte fi nns på dagen i lika stor utsträckning.
