The Lomma hamn area is being developed as a new part of Lomma. The rosary is part of a long stretched park, called Midskeppsparken, situated one city block away from the beach. The rosary is included in the first stage of development in Lomma hamn, which will continue for several years.
This thesis describes the project of realizing the rosary - from sketch to built result. It describes the different stages of development – proposal, planning, construction and result. It also, as a summary, contains thoughts about the future. Focus is on statements, reflections and the way problems are solved.
The intention with this thesis is to tell the story of how an idea becomes reality. |

Detta examensarbete handlar om hur ett rosarium i Lomma hamn blev till. Vårterminen 2004 deltog jag i en idétävling som Lomma kommun arrangerade tillsammans med SLU Alnarp. Uppgiften var att utforma ett rosarium. Juryn tilltalades av min idé och lät mig få det fortsatta uppdraget att utveckla denna och att ta fram bygghandlingar för parken. Rosariet anlades under december 2006. Stadsdelen Lomma hamn är under framväxt. Här ligger Rosariet som del i det långsmala parkstråket Midskeppsparken, beläget ett kvarter innanför Lommas strand. Rosariet ingår i den första av de exploateringsetapper Lomma hamn kommer att genomgå under de kommande åren. Det här arbetet är en beskrivning av projektets olika delar, från idéskiss till det färdiga resultatet. Arbetet är indelat i kapitel efter de olika skedena - förslag, projektering, byggtid och resultat. Som avslutning beskriver jag även tankar om Rosariets framtid. Arbetsgången och projektets framskridande beskrivs under respektive skede. Problemlösning, konstateranden och reflektioner utgör den huvudsakliga diskussionen.
