This new technique was a self-propelled cleaning loader for sugarbeets. This machine is
supposed to replace a loader and a cleaning machine when the sugarbeets is going to be
loaded, cleaned and delivered to the sugerbeet factory. The cleaning loader picks up the
sugarbeets with rollers from the pile, which is placed close to the road. The machine
cleans with steel rollers and loads the sugarbeets into the truck with a conveyor, which is
able to turn around both sides of the machine.
We have done some field studies that includes some experiments and observations. In the
experiment we have come to a result concerning the loss of sugarbeets behind the
machine. We have been following the Ropa Maus for about five days during the
campaign 2003, so that we have a clue about how this machine works in reality. We put
together some questions that we distributed to the growers, truck drivers and the driver of
the cleaning loader to gather some information from all the involved parts.
To get the whole economical aspect have we done some calculations of the costs on both
the cleaning loader and the cleaning machine with a loader. After that we got information
about the price of loading and cleaning, we could come to a final result.
To be able to invest in a self-propelled cleaning loader you need to have 60 000 ton of
sugarbeets to make a profit. This is a result of ours calculations and diagrams.
The loss after Ropa Maus cleaning loader was 1.076 % after our own trial.
A good thing about Ropa Maus cleaning loader is that the pressure on the soil, where the
pile of sugarbeets have been located, is further less than loading with cleaning machine
and a loader. |

Vårt största intresse inom växtodlingen är sockerbetsodling och därför vill vi skriva om något nytt som har hänt inom detta område. Vi fick höra att en ny maskinteknik hade kommit till Sverige så vi ville ta reda på allt som fanns om denna maskin. Den nya tekniken var en självgående renslastare. Denna maskin skulle ersätta lastare och rensverk när sockerbetorna skulle lastas, rensas och levereras till sockerbruket med lastbil. Maskinen plockar upp betorna med hjälp av stålvalsar som sitter på ett upplockarbord. Rensverket består också av stålvalsar som gör att betorna rensas och transporteras sedan vidare till elevatorn som går att svänga runt hela maskinen. Detta är bra för att lastningen kan ske på både renslastarens högra och vänstra sida. Vi har även gjort fältstudier som omfattar en del försök och observationer. I försöket har vi räknat fram betspillet efter maskinen. Vi har varit ute och följt maskinen cirka fem dagar under betkampanjen 2003 så att vi har fått en inblick i hur maskinen arbetar och fungerar. Vi sammanställde olika enkäter som vi delade ut till föraren av renslastaren, lastbilschaufförer, odlare samt stukläggare för att få en helhetsbild om renslastaren. För att få en helhetsbild på de ekonomiska aspekterna har vi tagit fram kostnadskalkyler på både renslastaren och rensverk med lastmaskin. Därefter fick vi prisuppgifter på lastning och rensning så att vi kunde få fram ett resultat. För att det skall vara ekonomiskt försvarbart att investera i en självgående renslastare skall man ha 60 000 ton betor. Har man mindre än detta så är lastmaskin och stationärt rensverk det mest ekonomiska. Detta fick vi fram genom egna maskinkalkyler. Spillet efter Ropa Maus renslastare var enligt eget försök 1,076 %. De praktiska fördelarna som finns med renslastaren är att den har en liten markpackning jämfört med lastare och stationärt rensverk. Lastaren kör i samma spår många gånger för att lasta rensverket och packar till jorden, vilket medför att den lämnar djupa hjulspår vid blött underlag. Om stukan ligger rätt dvs. med 8 meters bredd så behöver renslastaren bara göra en överfart vid lastningen. I och med att renslastaren kör framåt in i stukan hela tiden så lämnar den inte stora högar av avrens som måste jämnas ut innan vidare jordbearbetning kan ske.
