The purpose of this diploma work is to compare three different fuel options in order to find the most economic one considering the conditions of Katrinebergs Handelsträdgård AB.
In relation to oil it is profitable to change to any of the three alternatives: wood chips, wood pellets and grain. The most profitable option is to change to wood chips. This alternative has a payoff time less than three years and after that the annual saving compared to the oil is relatively high. The annual cost is 65 % of the cost of the oil alternative. However, the investment cost for the wood chips alternative is the highest.
Considering the size of the plant and that the own work should not require too heavy efforts, the transport of fuel and ash etc should be automized. |

Med dagens pris på eldningsolja är det högaktuellt att se sig om efter nya uppvärmningsalternativ. En fortsatt utveckling som den vi sett de senaste åren skulle antagligen bli många odlingsföretags undergång. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att jämföra tre valda bränslealternativ samt avgöra vilket det vore mest ekonomiskt att byta till. Vid jämförelse med olja är det lönsamt att byta till alla tre alternativen: träflis, träpellets och spannmål. Mest lönsamt är dock att byta till fliseldning. Investeringen i anläggningen för detta alternativ är återbetald på mindre än tre år och därefter gör man en relativt stor besparing varje år jämfört med oljeeldning. Den årliga kostnaden för fliseldning är ca 65 % av kostnaden för oljeeldning med dagens priser. Detta trots att flisalternativet har den största investeringskostnaden. Med tanke på anläggningens storlek bör den egna arbetsinsatsen inte kräva alltför mycket och frammatning, askurmatning mm ska därför automatiseras. Störst risk för problem finns dock med flis beroende på den varierande storleken hos bränsledelarna.
