description The purpose of this study is to time study the time-slot for this individual moment of mechanized debarking and ring barking of trees. The moments are performed today in NS-management and as a point of efforti in the general consideration of final felling. The background to this study is commissioned by SCA Skog:s Jämtlandsförvaltning. The study is limited to two aggregate designs (LogMax 6000B and H415) where the difference between these is the number of feed-rollers and limbing knifes. The method in the study is based on the “Reset method” also called “Nollställningsmetoden” when collecting the field work in these two sample surfaces. The result from these samples shows that the LogMax 6000B is better designed for debarking, while ring barking was performed equally well by the two aggregates.
