| Sumario: | The main activities carried out by the Institute in Trinidad and Tobago during 2018 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as governance, public policies, resilience against climate change, climate-smart technologies, marketing, family farming, food safety and health, through the Codex Alimentarius. Likewise, work was done on water resource management, nursery management and seed production, as well as on the value chain of goat farming, such as the production of milk, cheese and yogurt. Finally, support was provided for the improvement of agricultural value chains and risk assessment for floods, as well as aid for this type of disaster.
