Likewise, work was done to improve the coffee value chain and the use of ferrocement tanks, for the use of rainwater for irrigation. Finally, support was given to the inclusion of women in agricultural issues and to combat drug theft. Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Saint Vincent and the Grenadines durante el 2017, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo en temas como apicultura, sostenibilidad, pesca, gobernanza, agricultura familiar, perma-apicultura, por medio del uso de la tecnología Perone Hive y en la resiliencia contra el cambio climático. Asimismo, se trabajó en mejorar la cadena del valor del café y en el empleo de tanques de ferrocemento, para el uso de agua de lluvia para el riego.
