| Sumario: | The main activities carried out by the Institute in Dominica during 2017 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as health and food safety, risk management, leadership, governance, finance, technology, innovation, fertilizer use and resilience against climate change. Likewise, technical cooperation was provided for the improvement of territorial ordering and land management, as well as forest management and the improvement of ecosystems. Finally, support was provided for the production of coffee and roots and tubers, such as Dasheen (sp. colocassia esculenta), the use of seedlings, and emergency aid was provided to combat the damage caused by Hurricane Maria.
