Esta herramienta, mediante conceptos variados como el de Grandes Paisajes, Medios de Vida y Necesidades Humanas Fundamentales logra mostrar una imagen básica territorial, y de sus componentes, partiendo desde las características biofísicas, hasta las poblacionales y de actores locales.
