Sc) -- CATIE, Turrialba (Costa Rica), 2006 densidad aparente, porcentaje de humedad, materia orgánica, análisis foliar y químico del suelo. Se puede concluir que con los indicadores evaluados se encontraron mínimas diferencias entre el manejo orgánico y convencional de este estudio, en gran parte debido al impacto que sobre el manejo convencional han tenido la aplicación de abonos orgánicos, tan frecuente entre productores convencionales en la zona. El presente estudio se realizó en seis invernaderos ubicados en el cantón de Alfaro Ruiz, provincia de Alajuela, Costa Rica, donde se estudiaron comparativamente los sistemas de Producción orgánica y convencional de chile dulce y su impacto en el componente planta suelo. Las variables comparadas fueron población de nemátodos, porcentaje de colonización de los hongos micorrícicos y poblaciones totales de microorganismos de la rizosfera Organic and conventional red peppers were comparatively studied as well as their impact on the plant-soil component in Alfaro Ruiz, Alajuela, Costa Rica. The variables were nematode population, percentage of mycorrhizae colonization, total population of rhizosphere microorganism, soil density, percentage humidity, organic matter, tissue nutrient content and soil fertility. It can be concluded that nutritional levels on soil and leaf tissue of organic and conventional pepper showed no difference, however, microbial indicators show a higher population on organic soils, suggesting that organic managed systeMON have achieved similar nutritional level as conventional systeMON with improved soil life.
