Sc.) -- CATIE, Turrialba (Costa Rica), 2008 luego un análisis prospectivo iniciando como el modelo territorial, el escenario tendencial, así como el modelo territorial futuro sometido a consenso en talleres de consulta, como base para la formulación del POT con su reglamento y cartera de proyectos propuesto. Se propone estrategias para la implementación del Plan con aportes de los actores locales como insumo. El objetivo de la investigación fue elaborar el plan de ordenamiento territorial (POT) para la subcuenca del río Jucuapa en Matagalpa, Nicaragua como instrumento de gestión del uso del suelo que permita mejorar las condiciones de los recursos naturales, la eficiencia de las inversiones y visionar el desarrollo futuro de la subcuenca con la participación de actores locales, el Comité Ejecutivo de la Cuenta (CEC) de las 10 comunidades en la subcuenca. El trabajo inició con el diagnóstico territorial participativo que permitió generar información base para la evaluación del suelo, áreas bajo riesgo, áreas para protección hídrica The objective of this study was to elaborate the territorial ordering plan (TOP) for the Jucuapa river subwatershed in Matagalpa, Nicaragua as an instrument for soil use management which allows the improvement of the natural resources capacities, the efficiency of the investments and the visualization of the watershed future development with the participation of stakeholders from the ten communities in the sub-watershed and the sub-watershed executive committee (CEC in Spanish). The research initiated with a territorial participative diagnosis that generated fundamental information for soil evaluation, under risk areas for hydric protection.
