Sc) -- CATIE, Turrialba (Costa Rica), 2006 El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar la colonización, promoción de crecimiento y control de Sigatoka negra, en vitroplantas de plátano inoculadas con cuatro aislamientos de Hongos Endofíticos (HE), bajo condiciones controladas de invernadero. Los resultados muestran mayor porcentaje de colonización de HE en la raíz, seguido por el cormo, pseudotallo y hoja. Los resultados aquí presentados, no demuestran con suficiente amplitud la respuesta esperada, se recomienda continuar trabajando en esta dirección, ya que esta es la primera experimentación realizada en el cultivo del plátano. The objective of this study was to evaluate colonization, growth promotion and black Sigatoka control in plantain vitroplants, inoculated with four Fungal Endophytes (FH) isolates under controlled greenhouse conditions. Results showed higher FE colonization percentage at root level, followed by the corm, pseudostem and leaf.
