Applications of two and four pounds per acre of the isopropyl ester over the tops of one-month-old plants caused a marked reduction in growth. The same rates were relatively safe, however, when applications were made at the base of the plants, so that the tops were not actually covered by the spray. A triethanolamine salt formulation caused a reduction in growth of one-month-old plants when the sprays were applied over the tops at two and four pounds per acre. |
