Sumario:The "normal" sanges of major element valions in subber foliage as proposed by Beanfils are unsuitable for use on Dunlop Malayan estates New values for the "normal" ranges of N/P, N/K, K/P, K/Mg and Mg/P are calculated from analytical results on local leaf material. Yields of a manurial experiment are examined in relațion to those "normal" values and it is evident that these ralnes are not "optimuni".
