The apparent absorption of ingested phosphorus (AAP) was related to the phosphorus content of the forage (Pc mg/100 g) by the following equation AAP 123.66log. Pc-301.63. This implies that you will need a forage that contains 275 mg/100 g. of phosphorus to maintain balance. |
