Sumario:Observation at harvesting of a potato fertilization experimental field induced to a preliminar evaluation of the relation fertilizer formula versus damage of larva of Epitrix sp. on potato tubers. This evaluation was conducted in 1963 in Hacienda Santa Catalina of the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Agropecuarias, Pichincha province, Ecuador, at 3058 m above sea level. Results indicated the tubers of the non fertilized plots as well as the treatment without phosphorus were the most susceptible to larval injury.
