The use of any one of these yeasts did not adversely affect the weight of the individual pupae, per cent pupal recovery form the larval medium, adult emergence from the pupal stage, and the fertility and fecundity of the adult females. Substitution of yeast type-B for type CF-2 in the larval diet would result in a saving of US $1.05 for each million pupae produced. |
