Nueva plaga de la caña de azúcar en México (Saccharosydne saccharivora Estw)

The presence of Saccharosydne saccharivora Este. (Homoptera, Delphacidae) in sugar cane fields in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico, was first registered in 1964. A good control was obtained with 0.05 %. The pest has not been found since then.
