With a total of 48 replications in the Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, nursery (1,152 trees, 6 treatments) and 64 replications in the St. Croix nursery (1,280 trees, 5 treatments), the analysis showed higher yields for the Guanacaste, Costa Rica, provenance (treatment) and lower yields for the Argentine provenance. Yields were measured by height, diameter, Hypsipyla grandella attack, mortality, and number of branches before planting in the field. |
