Observations on growth and a technique for estimating annual growth in Prioria copaifera
A simple technique is described for marking recent growth on a living tree. Subsequent annual growth can be easily determined and related to growth rings, if present in the species. A field trial of this technique was conducted on Prioria copaifera in Costa Rica.
