Effect of caffeine and nicotine on the callus growth and root morphogenesis of Phaseolus vulgaris tissue cultures

Effects of the alkaloids, nicotine and caffeine, in cellular growth and root morphogenesis were studied in Phaselous vulgaris var Bico de Ouro. Leaf section explants were cultured on a bean medium suplemente with 2 mg/l IAA and 02 mg/l kinetin.
