Visual observation of wetness was done at several heights on west and east faces of plants under recent low topping condition, on the west face of plants under low topping condition and on the west face of plants under untopping condition, with north-south oriented rows The mean vertical profile of setness period duration, by dew or by rain, showed an increase from the top to the lower part of the plants in consequence of the delay on the ending moments. lnder dry soil conditions, dew formation was inhibited in the first thirty centimeters above the ground. The dew witness biggest duration occurred on west face of the plants, at 0 30 m above the ground. Este trabajo estudia los perfiles verticales de humedad foliar en un cultivo de café. La observación visual de la humedad se realizó a varias alturas en las caras oeste y este de las plantas en condición de desmoche reciente, en la cara oeste de las plantas en condición de desmoche bajo y en la cara oeste de las plantas en condición de desmoche, con hileras orientadas de norte a sur El perfil vertical medio de la duración del período de mojado, por rocío o por lluvia, mostró un incremento desde la parte superior a la inferior de las plantas como consecuencia del retraso en los momentos de finalización. En condiciones de suelo seco, la formación de rocío fue inhibida en los primeros treinta centímetros sobre el suelo.
