The results of experiment were analysing through factor design 2x4, the first factor was the sex (two niveles male and female) and the second factor was the four groups with zero, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0% of Arachis pintoi in the diet; in two ages levanter and fattening In the first age was significative diferents among treatment with witness. Among treatment was diferents in the levels of 3.0%, 3.5 y 4.0% though in the two latter levels dont be diferents in the 3.0 and begger levels, is recommendable available the level of 3.5% in animals of levanter. En el municipio de Pitalito (Huila) se realizó un experimento en Cuyes (Cavia purcellus), en machos y hembras, para determinar la respuesta al consumo de tres niveles de forraje de Ara chis pintoi 3.0, 3.5 y 4.0%, contra un testigo que recibió igual alimentación a los anteriores tratamientos menos Arachis, durante dos épocas, una de levante y otra de finalización. Los resultados del experimento fueron analizados mediante diseño factorial donde el primer factor fue el sexo (dos niveles macho y hembra) y el segundo los cuatro niveles, cero como testigo 3.0, 3.5 , 4.0% de Arachis en la dieta. Para la evaluación de la primera época (asimilada a una fase de levante) se encontraron diferencias altamente significativas entre los tratamientos y el testigo. Entre los tratamientos se encontraron diferencias entre el nivel del 3.0, 3.5 y 4.0%, aunque en estos dos últimos niveles no presentaron diferencias estadísticas con el nivel del 3.0, por lo cual se recomienda utilizar el nivel del 3.5% en animales de levante. En la fase de finalización no se encontraron diferencias estadísticas significativas entre los tratamientos.
