Live Salmonella vaccines can be administered by drinking water to the chicks from the first day of life on wards,although vaccination may fail when the chicks do not consume enough water. Therefore, alternative routes of application should be considered in order to guarantee the correct dose intake of the vaccinein 1-day-oldchicks.
