Este estudio analiza los planes curriculares de la carrera de Ingeniería Agronómica en la República Argentina, centrándose en los objetivos de estos planes de formación. Asimismo, se identifican los campos laborales para los cuales se propicia su preparación profesional. Se tomó una muestra de universidades con sede en Buenos Aires y se realizó un análisis del contenido de los planes de estudio. Se identificaron seis grandes áreas temáticas para las cuales se orienta la carrera de Agronomía en estas universidades.
