Summary:Grevillea robusta growth was affected by the planting density in essays conducted in the southern part of the Misiones Province. The observed high growths in stand with low densities were not corresponded with significant variations in the wood physical properties. The wood basic density was higher in the low distance treatments but such variation does not affect the structural use. The results showed that the specie can be used in agroforestry systems under low planting densities without impact on the wood quality.
