Se utilizaron maiz var. ICA V 155, name var. Peludo y yuca var. Venezolana. El name se sembro en forma manual a 1 m en cuadro, el maiz se sembro con chuzo (4 granos/sitio) a 1 m en cuadro igual que la yuca. De los diferentes arreglos estudiados, el asocio name con maiz intercalado con yuca es el que mas ingresos netos presento (Col $271,200) con un coeficiente de UET de 2.0; esto indica que se necesitan 2 veces el area relativa de tierra de yuca o maiz o name sembrado en monocultivo para obtener la misma produccion total del sistema.
