Se analizan los distintos factores ambientales que influyen en la producción de grano del cultivo de arroz. Entre ellos están la temperatura (alta, baja crítica, del agua y del aire), la radiación solar, la energía solar y la fotosíntesis; el agua, la precipitación, la transpiración, la relación agua/suelo, el viento y la humedad relativa. En síntesis, la respuesta de la planta de arroz a los factores del clima y a diversas condiciones del ambiente determina, en gran medida, la velocidad y la intensidad de los procesos metabólicos controlados por el código genético de la planta.
