(CIAT) La capacitacion de cientificos y extensionistas en la sede principal del CIAT en el desarrollo, la prueba y la promocion de nuevas lineas mejoradas y practicas agronomicas siguio recibiendo una alta prioridad en el programa de frijol. Este ano se capacito un total de 180 cientificos de El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Peru, Honduras y Colombia, en investigacion en fincas. Setenta y seis cientificos de America, Europa, Asia y Africa recibieron capacitacion en diversas disciplinas. Se incluyen datos sobre la capacitacion suministrada en CIAT en disciplinas especificas y el no. de hombres-mes de capacitacion suministrado por CIAT, por pais; se incluye una lista con el nombre del investigador visitante, pais, institucion, disciplina, supervisor y cientifico-mes en el programa de frijol.
