En el esquema presentado se da enfasis a las relaciones investigacion- transferencia; esta ultima constituye el puente basico entre la investigacion y la produccion agropecuaria. Se mencionan 2 proyectos desarrollados con la metodologia expuesta: 1) un proyecto colaborativo CIAT-Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario en la Costa Norte de Colombia, el cual evalua genotipos de yuca y 2) un proyecto en el Depto. del Cauca en el cual los agricultores evaluan genotipos de yuca, frijol y maiz.
