Los proyectos incluyen la evaluacion de var. importadas, obtencion de var. mejoradas, seleccion de lineas segregantes, viveros de adaptacion de lineas avanzadas, pruebas de rendimiento de lineas promisorias, pruebas de estabilidad de var. seleccionadas, nivel adecuado de fertilizacion, control de malezas, plagas y enfermedades, determinacion de residuos toxicos en el producto cosechado, cosecha y almacenamiento.
