The aim of the event was to "Upscale Community-based Adaptation", which involves both knowledge transfer and policy implementation. 350 delegates from 60 countries participated and went on a three-day field trip to different sites in the Dhaka region, sites which demonstrated different impacts from climate change, and different community-based adaptation measures.
