The research was planned to be carried out at 9 research stations located in different parts of the country. The local sheep breeds selected in different parts of the country. The local sheep hreeds selected for the breeding programme were Red Masai and Black Head Persian, and the exotic breeds were Dorper, Corridale, Hampshire Down, Romeny Marsh and Merino. The indigenous goat breeds were Gall and East African Goat and the exotic breeds were Nubian, Toggenburg and Sannen. |
